Half Day: Tuscan Cooking Class

Overview

For those in Soriano and the nearby towns, we start in the town piazza at 9:45 AM. For those coming from Rome, you will take a train from Rome at 8:25 AM, and we will pick you up at the Orte station at 9:00 AM.

We'll head down to our beautiful 18th century villa for a day of cooking. We'll make a 5 course meal today, which will result in our lunch.

We will make (and eat):

Appetizer:
Bruschetta with Goat Cheese, Pancetta & Rosemary

1st Course:
Gnocchi with porcini

2nd Course:
Chicken Cacciatore

Side:
Sautéed Bell peppers

Dessert:
Panna Cotta with chocolate glaze and berry glaze.

All cooking is 100% hands on! You will be given a recipe book from the class, as well as a Culture Discovery apron to take home with you.

After lunch, we will take you back to Soriano if that is where you started. For those staying in Rome, we will head back to the Orte Train Station, where you will be able to get a train to Rome at 4:00 PM, getting back to the Rome train station at 4:45 PM.
