Bruschetta with Sausage and Stracchino (farmer cheese)

Ingredients

  • 4 Slices of Italian bread
  • 1 mild sausage (no fennel)
  • 125 gr ( ½ cup ) of farmers cheese( Best if you can find Stracchino or Crescenza. Mozzarella will work too)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 275 C (400F)
  2. Remove the casings from the sausage and place in a bowl with the cheese. (If you are using Mozzarella, shred it first).
  3. Blend together until smooth.
  4. Spread the mixture on the bread.
  5. Bake until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm.
