What Transportation is offered for arrivals & departures?

For our 9 day cooking vacations based out of Sicily, transportation to and from the Palermo airport is included in the all-inclusive price of your vacation. Similarly, we will gladly take you back to the airport at the end of our time together. Following are the details:

Arrivals

We offer a free shuttle service from Palermo airport. The time of your pickup will be determined once we have the arrival times of all of our guests, as we will have staggered shuttles throughout the day.

When you arrive at the airport, you will be greeted by a driver. If any other guests are arriving within an hour of your arrival, we will group you for the trip. The driver will take you to from the Palermo airport to the Trapani Port (53 miles / 85km).

Once there, you will board a ferry or hydrofoil to the short trip to Favignana Island (10 miles / 16km).

When you arrive on the island, a driver will meet you at the dock to take you to the Nido Del Pellegrino, which will be your home for the next six nights. (1.7 miles / 2.7km)

Departures

Six days into the vacation, we will all transfer together to Mainland Sicily. We will stay the final two nights in downtown Palermo. On our final day, we will provide transfers for you to the Palermo airport based on your departure schedule. If you will be remaining in Sicily, we will gladly provide transfers to the train station, or a car rental agency based on your desires.
