This flavorful and simple salad is healthy, sweet, and perfect on a hot day.<\/h2>\n

1<\/span> <\/span> head of radicchio<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> <\/span> large orange<\/span><\/div>\n
½<\/span> cup<\/span> chopped walnut<\/span><\/div>\n
olive oil<\/span><\/div>\n
salt<\/span><\/div>\n
pepper<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Slice up the radicchio into thin strips (Julienne)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Toss and separate the radicchio strips. Add salt and pepper and arrange on a plate<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Cut the ends off the orange. Stand the orange on one cut end, and with a very sharp knife, slice the skin off the orange, rotating the orange after each slice. The finished orange will be in tact and naked<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Slice orange across the sections to achieve round slices that look like pinwheels<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Arrange the orange slices over the radicchio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sprinkle the walnuts over the orange slices<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Drizzle with olive oil.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
