The Amalfi coast was absolutely fantastic. The food was phenomenal and the hosts were wonderful. We enjoyed every site we visited. I would happily go back and redo the entire Amalfi trip again.
Suggestions: 1) There is a lot of walking and a lot of steps. Try walking up and down stairs as much as you can a couple of months before your trip to help prepare you. 2) Bring breathable summer clothes. It's very hot in June-July but still a very enjoyable time. 3) Don't fly through Newark Airport. We lost a day- thankfully we had planned for it. It seems to be a common thing for flights to be delayed for a day or more in Newark. 4) Eat lots of gelato.
