My husband and I joined this trip/tour with some friends. Since we had never booked a “tour” before we had some trepidation about the idea, but decided, “It is Italy, with our friends—it will be fun no matter what!”
We had a blast!! I can not begin to describe the experience with enough enthusiasm— we learned so much, we made new friends, we laughed, and we ate, and ate and ate…we couldn’t get enough of each day. Truly, one day we were making lasagna in a Nonna’s backyard and another cooking in a Michelin star kitchen! It was truly amazing—-even for my husband who serves cereal as his main course—he loved it!!
Our tour guide, Larisa, made us feel like we were the most important people in her life, her side kick Mossimo, followed suit…and our whole group participated in experiences that we never dreamed would be “ for us.”
We travel quite often, and, with a large family, I am usually the travel planner, this opportunity allowed me to sit back and relax and enjoy each day planned for us!!
Before the trip ended, the couple we travelled with and two other couples signed up for another tour next May
