Our Amalfi Coast Vacation in 13 Gorgeous Photos

Our Amalfi Coast Vacation is one of our best selling tours. The dramatic coastlines, the perfect towns built into the cliffs, it is absolutely stunning from every angle. The Amalfi Coast was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site for its undisputed beauty.

Our 8-Day, 7-Night all-inclusive Amalfi Coast Vacation offers a mixture of some of the Amalfi Coast’s spectacular highlights along with some truly off-the-beaten-path treasures unique to the area. During this vacation week, our small groups have the exclusive use of a villa perched in the hills above the Amalfi Coast.

It is a week of discovery as you integrate into coastal Italian-village life. Getting to know some of the locals, shopping with them as well as dancing and singing with them! Most of all, it is a week of fun, family and laughter as we share what makes this part of Italy so special in a very personal way, amidst one of the most gorgeous backdrops in the world!

These next 13 photos from Amalfi are some of my personal favorites that I think give a great feeling for our Amalfi Coast Vacations.

Private Boat to Positano

Overlooking Positano

Positano is truly a slice of Italian paradise. This coastal town is very popular, many tourists stay here. On our Amalfi Coast vacation, we stay in Atrani, a nearby village. We take a private boat from Atrani to Positano one afternoon and have the entire afternoon to explore this wildly popular town.

Right before the sun sets, we hop back on our private boats and have a Prosecco toast overlooking Positano and the coast. Then we head over to a private cove and have an Italian BBQ on the beach for dinner.

Capri Boat Day

Swimming on our Boat Day to Capri

One day on our Amalfi Coast Vacation we take a “Gozzo Sorrentino” (The traditional boat of the Amalfi Coast) to the island of Capri. We make our way up the Amalfi Coast, viewing the spectacular coastline from the water, until we reach Capri. Then we spend a couple hours navigating around the island and its many beautiful grottos. We make some stops in some of the grottoes (including an opportunity to go inside the Blue Grotto). Finally, we anchor somewhere for a chance to swim as we have a light lunch on our boat.

After lunch, we head to the marina in Capri, and take the funicular up to the village. We spend a few hours shopping, eating gelato and strolling.

San Francesco Winery

No trip to Italy is complete without a trip to a winery
The San Francesco Winery

One evening we drive to the San Francesco winery on the Amalfi Coast. We tour the vineyards (and see one vine that is over 700 years old!). Then have a lunch with the family that runs the winery with a full tasting of their wonderful wines.

Experiences like having dinner with the family that owns the winery are what makes our Amalfi Coast Vacation different. We don’t just want you to taste the wines and buy them. But we want you to get to know the people, absorb the culture, and get to know the locals.

Hands-On Cooking Classes

Our Amalfi Coast Vacations have 100% hands on cooking classes
Our Cooking Classes are 100% hands on

Our cooking classes take place on the patio of our private villa overlooking Atrani. They are completely hands-on, not demonstrations. We structure them so that you can be as involved as you wish in every stage of cooking.

  • I love seeing pictures of our group. Brings me back there. It was our third CDV vacation. Each one was incredible. This one edges the other two as “best” simply for the beauty and diversity of experiences. Love you guys!!
