The Best Sicilian Vacation
The sense of 'family' while exploring Sicily. The food and wine and meeting such wonderful people who hosted us all. So many great laughs with a group of people who melded so well.

The 12 days in Sicily were the highlight of many of our travels around the world. The sense of 'family' within the group and our connections with the hosts and families we met only added to the experience. A huge thank you to our wonderful leader, Massimo, whose sense of humour, his huge, welcoming smile everyday, his care of the whole group, and his knowledge and organization was so appreciated. The choice of accommodation was exceptional, often tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the usual tourist areas, it gave us a better understanding of life in Sicily. Unique cooking experiences only added to our enjoyment of this tour. The visit with Marcello's family was a fun evening and a chance to dance and laugh with the whole family, although the cooking lesson was a bit chaotic! We cannot wait to choose a different tour with Cultural Discovery and can only hope that more 12 day, small group tours will be offered in different regions.
