Mount Etna, or “Montibello” meaning "beautiful mountain" as the locals call it, is the largest active volcano in Italy. It also holds the title as the volcano with the longest record of continuous eruption.
We will leave early in the morning for an exciting day discovering the beautiful volcano. Comfortable private 4-Wheel vehicles will pick us up at the hotel and we will drive up towards on of the highest points of the “mountain”. We will make some stops for walking excursions on the way and enjoy the magical views, refreshing air under the warm Sicilian sun. The only things you need are water, comfortable shoes and sunglasses.
We will also visit one of the wineries of the volcano where they produce excellent Sicilian wines. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
