The trip was packed with excursions, experiences and adventure and it kept us smiling, or out and out laughing, from morning to evening.

It takes great skill and talent to meet a group of 11 strangers from all parts of North America at a train station and within hours have them chatting, laughing and engaged. Our host Linda was a unique blend of raunchy humour, and compassion and had us all feeling like a unified group within a short period of time. We experienced the towns of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio in a way that no guide book could have done. It was personal. We would gather almost everyday at the villa for our cooking lessons, wine tasting and education. Our aprons helped us to get in the role of chefs. Carla, Katia and Rosali were fun in the kitchen and Sergio drove us safely from place to place on narrow, winding, cobblestone roads. Rocky was the "rock" in the background most of the time who responded to every query. We had the opportunity to meet him at the end of the week and to dance and sing our evening away in the pergola. We will definitely recommend this trip.
