This was my third trip to Italy and I wanted to learn more about the people and take a cooking class. I didn't want a party for my 50th - I wanted to go back to Italy. I searched for months: looking at tours, cooking classes, etc. Culture Discovery was the best of both. At first the price seemed high, but if you look at the 'big box' tours or the other cooking classes, the prices were very comparable. I had no idea how much more you get from a CDV tour! From the time you arrive, they take of everything. The only thing you pay for is souvenirs. They were very accommodating to our son and to everyone on the tour. We are planning on coming back in 2021 for Bologna and 2023 for Amalfi. We are hoping to bring friends with us! CDV is the family in Italy I wish I had! (Even crazy Uncle Rocky ;-) )
