Any solo travellers thinking about attending to not hesitate to book as you will meet some absolutely wonderful people

I attended one of the Wine and Cooking Under the Tuscan & Umbrian Sun weeks in June 2009 and had an absolutely fantastic time! The week I wanted to attend was actually sold out but Michael & Paola went out of their way to arrange alternative accommodation arrangements for me at no extra cost so I was able to attend.
I met an absolutely wonderful group of people who we were all laughing together within minutes of when I stepped off the plane and met them and thoroughly enjoyed our week of eating, drinking and sight-seeing! The things that you learn to cook are amazing and it's all done step by step by you so you can do it yourself once you get home again (assuming you are paying attention and not too busy laughing or drinking wine or enjoying the beautiful views from the house that is!!) and you can ask questions about anything that you're cooking or anything else that comes to mind and they will be happy to answer.
We not only got to eat our own cooking which was amazing food but the meals you have when you're not cooking are too tasty for words, not to mention the beautiful wine that accompanies each meal!! As well as eating and drinking we toured a number of local cities, all of which gave us the opportunity to see and experience the beautiful countryside and local shops and cultures. We also visited a number of wineries (including one that produces possibly the best tasting olive oil on this planet!), and of course everywhere you go you have the opportunity to purchase what you try so make sure you leave some spare in your bag for all the wine, cheese and oil that you won’t be able to resist buying!!
I attended by myself and would say to any solo travelers thinking about attending to not hesitate to book as you will meet some absolutely wonderful people and have a fantastic time!! Transportation is provided for everything you do so all you have to do is sit back, relax, eat, drink and enjoy yourself, which frankly, is impossible not to do!!
