Bologna has a very active nightlife. Most of it is concentrated in the historical centre close to our hotel, where bars fill up with locals from aperitivo time (6pm-9pm) till late at night. So if you feel like taking in the local flavor with the large number of university students and residents before turning in for the evening, go for it!
