One of the most iconic cities of Italy, Perugia is the capital of Umbria. The history of Perugia dates back to the Etruscan period, as it was cities of Etruria. It is a very popular cultural center for Italy, having been home to Raphael, Pinturicchio, and Alessi.
We'll be visiting the city in the morning, during which time we will visit Rocca Paolina, the famous underground city, then make our way up to the city center, where we will have some time for strolling and shopping before lunch.
Lunch will be in a wi=onderful restaurant right near the main square before we leave the center for the Perugina Chocolate Factory, where we will have our chocolate making class.
