No, there are no safes in the village homes. Please remember that these are not like hotel rooms. They are actual residences, so they are not set up the way a hotel room would be.
That said, you also won't have some anonymous cleaning lady in your home every day with access to go through your things. The only time anyone will enter your home will be on Wednesday to do a linen and towel change.
By that point, the person that enters will be someone you know and already adore. Of course, there is always the extremely unlikely possibility that an outsider may break into the home, although nothing like this has ever happened.
Soriano is a very small and tranquil town.
You should take whatever precautions you would normally take in your own home.
