For our 8 day cooking vacations based out of Chianti, transportation to and from the Florence - Peretola airport is included in the all-inclusive price of your vacation, so long as your flight arrives in time for our scheduled pick-up. Similarly, we will gladly take you back to the airport at the end of our time together. Following are the details:
Arrivals
We offer a free shuttle service from Florence International (FLR) airport at 2:30 PM on the Saturday your week begins. If you are flying in that day, be sure to get a flight that arrives before 12:00 AM. For those arriving at times that do not coincide with our shuttle schedule, we can arrange for a private driver to bring you to Radda in Chianti for an extra charge.
If You Are Already in Florence
If you are already in Italy, you can make your way by train to the Florence Rifredi train station, and get a taxi that will bring you to the airport in a few minutes.
Departures
On the final day, we offer a free shuttle service to the Florence International FLR airport at 7:00 AM for those leaving on an outbound flight. This gets people to the Florence FLR Airport by around 8:15 AM. Your outbound flight should be scheduled to depart no earlier than 9:45 AM, otherwise you should consider an extra night in Florence, with a flight home on Sunday
If you would like to sleep in and depart at a later time, we can generally arrange it so long as we know in advance. Transportation in this case will be at your own expense. Check Out Time will be 10:00 AM. If you make this choice, you will be on your own for transportation as we are limited to one vehicle for transfers. If you would like to rent a car for your departure day, the hotel can make arrangements for you.
