This week of traveling cooking and eating was like discovering long lost family on another planet. Michael and Spartaco were like attentive brothers who couldn't do enough to make the week memorable, and were so open and giving of their time and experiences. The sightseeing had none of the usual feeling of stopping for 10 seconds with 1000 other tourists, the guys really shared the experiences with us. A highlight was lunch at Spartaco's sister's house - it was wonderful to share his familiy for a short time, the language barrier was no problem there was so much laughter. I think about the trip nearly every day and dream of being able to do it again.
