This was our second CDV trip after enjoying the Culinary Treasures of Bologna, Venice, Michelin Stars and Exotic Cars Vacation in 2023. We were pleased to receive an email a few weeks prior to the start of our Sicily vacation that Valeria would be our host. She co-hosted (and was in training) our Bologna trip. Her energy, enthusiasm and passion for sharing Italian culture (especially Italian music and hand gestures!) added a special dimension to this trip.
This trip had a wide variety of experiences, cooking classes and venues. Our favorites were the cooking classes, winery visits, Mt. Etna adventure, salt harvesting in Marsala and Ortigia visit. Each of the accommodations were clean and comfortable. We thought the best was saved for last and really enjoyed La Foresteria where we also had 2 great wine pairing dinners.
We are looking forward now to planning our 3rd CDV adventure!
