House Staff were some of the most genuine & cordial people we ever met. Tour Leader was fantastic and very knowledgeable! Took the time/effort to adjust our itinerary due to the weather.

This was a trip my wife and will never forget. The Amalfi Coast was everything we were told.........and more. The accommodations were "over the top". What got it there was the house staff and their caring attitude that was soooo genuine. Our Villa where the guests stayed felt like HOME because of these people. Loved being able to roam about and watch the various stages of cooking and preparation. Having leisurely drinks in the courtyard overlooking the town and Mediterranean was like heaven. I didn't know what to expect regarding the cooking lessons, though, we were looking forward to the. We were pleasantly surprised to experience recipes that yielded meals/appetizers that I never envisioned ever attempting. But they were presented in such a basic and straightforward approach that our fears of attempting back home in the US were alleviated. In fact, my first attempt with a dish was a huge success when we had friends over!!!
Our tours were great as well as the personal (just our group) to Capri. Our tour leader Sophie even secured a larger boat as well as shifting the scheduling due to the weather. She went the extra mile wherever which made us feel like true guests and not just another customer. The transportation was comfortable wherever we went and the tours gave you a genuine flavor of the area and related history.
This was our first Culture Discovery trip, but we can assure you that it won't be our last. Their approach to what they do and how they do it make you feel special. Everything is taken care of. Nothing is added on in the end. You truly feel like a friend who is visiting family. We look forward to experiencing Culture Discovery excursions in the future and highly recommend this outfit. They have a different approach and you will not be disappointed.
