Loved the trip and reunion with 7 lovely friends from previous fabulous, various CDV trips! We LOVE alumni trips for that reason!
Always love the very personal contacts with our hosts, their family and their friends. Beautiful dinners with them and so wonderful how they opened their homes to us! That makes the whole trip for me!
Hotel excellent. Cooking classes great! Loved Mina and Rita and the whole layout, right in their home - a short walk from the hotel too!
A highlight making the Cabecudos with Senhor Antonio and his lovely gift to us! I also enjoyed very much Pedro at the Quinta do Ameal Winery. He was a very interesting entrepreneur! Also our Vineyard Cruise on the Douro was incredibly gorgeous, not to be missed.
I could go on forever.......
