I made the Soriano trip in September of 2016. It was indescribably wonderful! I love to cook and love wine! You get to do both and as much as you want of both, plus learn of the people and history of the area. One of my favorite parts of the Soriano trip is that each person, couple, family, has individual housing/apartments. I got to know my Italian neighbors! It was a wonderful experience.its not a hotel, or condo complex, you have your own place in the middle of the city of Soriano. I got know the butcher, the grocer and the produce retailer! I will never forget one morning for a late pick up with the CDV bus, the butcher opened up early with a beautiful deboned pig on a spit that had been roasting over night. The butcher recognized me and asked what I wanted. I asked for some shoulder/neck and cheek meat on a sandwich and don’t cheat me on the skin. He looked at me and smiled. That was the best breakfast I had in Soriano!
