Culture Discovery Vacations is truly a group of wonderful individuals who treat their guests like royalty. A group of high school girlfriends, reuniting nearly 50 years later, were fortunate to enjoy our first CDV tour in June, 2017. We were welcomed at the airport with open arms, and those arms warmly embraced us each and every moment for the entire week. We felt as though we were the much-awaited addition to their family! Our days were busy, never hectic. The food and wine were spectacular, never scarce. Cooking classes are always hands-on and the food is prepared from scratch, never packaged or processed. Boutique accommodations are charming and quaint, never commonplace. Tours are well thought out and meticulously planned, never haphazard. Transportation was first class, never a glitch. It was amazing how rendezvous vehicles would appear out of nowhere. Everything happens for a reason and without a hitch, and there is never a dull moment. A CDV representative remains with the group for the entire week. Luigi quickly became our very best friend, as you cook and laugh and toast and dance the week away! Throughout the week, we were joined by others who are a part of the CDV Family ~~ Rocky, Daniele, Alyssa, and Sam, and let's not forget Daniele's precious daughter, Agnese ~~ it is obvious that they are all very proud of CDV (and rightfully so) and extremely eager to make sure all of their guests have the most unforgettable trip of a lifetime! The CDV team is amazing!! We laughed, we toasted, we danced, we sang, we cooked, we ate, and we tasted so much wine ~~ we all had the time of our lives! You will want for nothing! Gelato every day? Not a problem, it happens! Thank you, CDV ~~ there is not a finer group of individuals who will offer so much of themselves! You are THE BEST! We entitled our week ~~ "BEST DAYS EVER!"
