If you want to do an 8 day, quick look at the tourist sights of Italy, CDV is not for you. If you want to experience and feel like you are a part of the culture, then go on a Culture Discovery Vacation. You will see the Italian way of life, prepare and eat their food, drink wines from local wineries, and , experience Italy , not just "see" it.
I know, I am going for my 3rd time this year and looking to go again next year. I have met many wonderful people, who I now consider my dear friends. Once you go on one CDV , you will want to return again, and again
