Culture discovery provides a tour with total immersion into the “heart” of Sicily! As a guest I became part of this amazing island. As we traveled the beautiful island we were taught and experienced the land, the sea, native foods, and exceptional wines. Best of all was immersion into salt flats, cooking lessons, pistachio orchards, and family gatherings in local homes. Add on to that the awe of climbing lava fields of Mt Etna with the guidance of two skilled CDV guides and a professional mountain guide.
This trip has haunted me since my return home. I miss the families we met; where we shared laughter, cooking, wine, music, outdoor sunsets, and friendships. Thank you CDV for a lasting memory of shared love of mankind.
