We had visited Favignana, an island off the coast of Sicily, in 2013 but had no idea that the mainland was so diverse and interesting. From our arrival in Palermo to our tearful departure in Catania, every day was a new adventure. From lush vineyards to bustling markets, from lowland farmland to the top of mount Etna we were treated to our daily dose of Sicilian hospitality.
The tour was 11 days but the time flew by as we travelled cross country, picking up local guides to introduce us to the delights of each location.
Every tour with Culture Discovery is packed with fun, food and friends (new and old). We’re already planning our trip for next year!
