Three generation - a trip of a lifetime!
A grandmother, mother, and 14 year old granddaughter couldn't have asked for a more perfect, fun, gastronomic, carefree vacation together!

Last September, upon returning from my wonderful Amalfi Coast CD vacation, I immediately booked my 2nd Culture Discovery vacation. This time I was joined by my daughter-in-love, and 14-year-old granddaughter, neither of whom had traveled to Europe before. I knew the CD model of family, fun, fabulous food (and wine), and unforgettable, hassle-free, culturally rich vacations would be just right for their first trip abroad -- and I was right -- our trip was amazing!
From the moment we arrived until the moment we said our goodbyes - or - “see-you-on-the-next-CD-vacation,” we were embraced by not only CD’s incredible leaders (Michael, Paola, Rocky, & Daniele), guides and teachers (Linda), driver (Sergio), master chefs (Carla and her wonderful team), and delightful intern (Maria), but also the 8 other “guests” (from around the US) who were all so wonderful to travel and cook with. Only 1 week together and we are now good friends and exchanging emails, travel tips, and even planning visits to their homes.
Thanks to the CD high standard-5-star accommodations, attention to every detail, and superior travel planning, you will enjoy a relaxing, fun-filled, educational, culturally rich, and gastronomically unforgettable vacation. One tip: be sure to bring loose-fitting clothes and pants with expandable waist bands because you will frequently find yourself in the most delirious food coma.
