This CDV trip was amazing. First of all, Split is stunningly beautiful! The sun shines so brightly that the beautiful clear water just sparkles . The cobble stoned city is charming and very nice to just walk around in enjoying ancient buildings, the little shops and the gelato day or night. It always feels safe. As amazing as all of that was, the best part of our trip was the people. Our host was fun, helpful and very attentive. He made sure everyone had everything they needed and made sure to spend time with everyone. His family and friends invited us into their homes to share their culture and their lives with us. It made this trip very unique and special. We enjoyed meeting all of them. Even our boat captains were a delight to spend time with . We came away with true admiration for how much the Croatia people love their families, their friends and their country. My expectations for this trip were very high and I’m happy to say CDV Croatia exceeded my expectations!
