My Croatia experience with CDV was an outstanding week filled to the brim! The three hosts, Nickola, Hanni, and Mislov, are the most genuinely delightful people who's mission is to delight us in the culture of their country.. And the mission was accomplished! They and their families welcomed us into their homes as if we were, well, family! But all the locals were also friendly, welcoming, and engaging.
The scenic beauty is vast, from mountainous areas, lush countrysides to charming city streets and delightful islands. We experienced it all in one short week! The people are patriot with a deep love for their country and those who fought for their independence, but also have a fierce loyalty for families and lifelong friendships. And the food! The most fresh local ingredients done wonderfully and to perfection. We ate and drank our way through the week!!
All of that is what we experienced amid much laughter, and new friendships. I can see another CDV experience in my future!
