We went on the Portugal trip with culture discovery vacations and had a wonderful time. Our tour of 14 folks was full of laughter, food and wine. We spent our days visiting different areas around Porto and met some lovely folks who welcomed us into their homes, fed us wonderful homemade food and some of the best wine I’ve ever had. We stayed in a wonderful hotel in Porto that had an exceptional restaurant and extremely attentive staff. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see a different side of Portugal. One down side is you will eat too much! And, my only wish was that I had spent time prior to this trip doing the normal touristy stuff as I felt I didn’t get to see that on this tour. Oh well, I guess there is another trip to Portugal on my list of things to do.
