Full Review

The week we spent in Radda in Chianti was just spectacular!  We met so many interesting people and lived fully in the present moment.  The food was outstanding - so were the wines!  There was plenty of it and I took the opportunity to try it all -- even the cinghiale! The trips to Montalcino, Montepulciano, and Pienza (to start with) were full of wonderful surprises and very happy moments.  Our guide, Linda, was just too funny!  She was giving us Italian lessons and giving us the full background stories with a twist - my sister and I just thought she was funny, kind and a truly good human being.  Alex, our driver, was funny - I got to sit next to him and practice my Italian throughout the trip.  At times the messages got lost in translation, but other times, they were on target.  Both Linda and Alex were an asset to the trip - great hosts!  Continuing with the cooking classes and the additional trips to Cortona, Siena, and Florence were fun-filled and gave us the opportunity to truly immerse in the culture.  The agri-tourism (picnic, cooking with Patrizia and meeting Marta, as well as the lady in the fromageria [can't remember her name]) were such wonderful experiences - something that I don't think I could I have had on my own.  Thank you for the week - it was wonderful and, although I wasn't feeling my best physically, I enjoyed every single day and was thankful and extremely happy that I got the opportunity to do this type of vacation.  I just loved it! (Again, Linda and Alex were fabulous hosts - funny, kind and caring).  We will most likely be doing some more of these vacations in the future.  Grazie mille!
