Few opportunities these days live up to the marketing hype. CDV so far surpasses the expectations that it is hard to express it properly. Took a CDV trip 10 years ago to Umbria. It does truly give you the experience of what it is like to live in Italy as opposed to being one of the tourists in the throng. Also gained 14 of my new friends from around the world. Probably why many of us are repeat visitors. Just enjoyed the Amalfi Coast. As always, the accommodations were exceptional, complete with lemon draped terraces. The pace is leisurely. Every detail was meticulously arranged & rearranged by Claudia. The whole Mansi/Ruocco family hosted us in the most amazing way - Antonio, Philomomma, Claudia, Pepe, Vincenzo, & Carmella. And our guide Linda was the spark plug of delight. She is in constant motion. A total delight as we desperately tried to help her make sense of English Idioms - forget it! The group activities & gatherings afforded us time to cook, eat, drink, sing, dance & be thoroughly immersed in joy. If you want to experience the way life should be, go with CDV. Next time Sicily!
