This was one of the best trips I've ever taken and I've traveled a lot. What makes this trip so special is not only the itineraries that are planned to the closest detail but the amazing people you meet along the way. Norcia is a special little town that is beautiful and the people we met there were warm and welcoming. The hotel was lovely and the staff even better - always going out of their way.

The cooking classes were so much fun. Roberto was an amazing teacher - clearly an amazing chef but also fun and helped us learn his grandmother's pasta recipe. All of the dishes we made were delicious and ones I plan to make again. I also loved all the side trips that were so unique - a pig farm, cheese making, truffle hunting...I don't know many people who get to do this and the fact that nothing feels touristy and "fake" makes it even more special.

The best part of the whole thing is the people ! We had a great tour leader Luigi who made the trip so much fun - his sense of humor and knowledge of the area was great. He always made sure we had what we needed and took great care of us. Plus he was a great pizza teacher and always made us laugh! :) There were only 7 of us on the tour and I have to say, I feel so lucky to have met them all and feel like I have made lifelong fiends. We all had so much fun together and I can't remember when I laughed more. They aren't kidding when they tell you that you become family - that's how it truly feels.

Whether you go with friends or alone, I highly recommend this trip. I definitely plan to do another as it's a perfect way to see the real Italy.
