Unbelievable Trip to Sicily

We laughed, cooked, and ate delicious food as much as humanly possible! Not to mention, enjoying as much wonderful wine as we wanted! Our host, Ivan, as well as the other staff members from CDV were incredible. The locations CDV took us to meet with local Italians were outstanding and the locals themselves were so interesting and friendly - you really are immersed in the culture. We will never forget the experiences with the fishing brothers; pulling fish nets and octopus traps early in the morning and then eating our catch for lunch right back on the boat followed by a swim in a beautiful bay on the Tyrrhenian Sea. We were right back the next night with the fisherman for probably one of the greatest meals we have ever tasted - fresh tuna prepared five different ways. But the highlight of the whole trip was the great singing party that broke after the meal. Ivan and the fishing brothers have nearly professionally voices - wonderful Italian songs, U S pop, and after a lot of wine some off-color fishing songs! We laughed for hours!
