Marettimo is the second largest of the Aegadian Islands, west of Favignana. The island has a population of only 300 who mainly live from fishing.
What makes Marettimo so special is not as much what is on the island, as what is around it. It is often compared to what the island of Capri would be like without all of the tourists. Magnificent grottoes surround the island with crystal water.
During our trips in Sicily, when weather permits, we spend a day boating from Favignana to Marettimo.
